What LexaClip stores

Your clipboard history, favorites, prompts, snippets and settings are stored locally in your browser. They are not sent to our servers, with the exceptions listed below.

  • Account: the email address and name from your Google account when you sign in, plus your plan and account status.
  • AI requests: when you press an AI button, the selected text is sent to our server, forwarded to the AI provider (OpenRouter) to generate the result, and returned to you. We do not store the content of AI requests.
  • Cloud Sync (Pro, optional): if you press "Sync now", your favorites and prompts are stored on our server so your browsers can stay in sync.

What LexaClip never collects

  • Copies made in password fields are never captured.
  • Your browsing history is not tracked; page content is not read beyond the text you copy or select.
  • No analytics or advertising trackers are embedded in the extension.

Your controls

  • Turn clipboard capture off entirely, or exclude specific sites, in the panel's Settings tab.
  • Clear your history at any time — it lives only on your device.
  • To delete your account data, contact us at the address below.
